I am a romance addict.

Give me stories with a touch of heartbreak and a spark of joy, and I’m happy. Throw in characters with a huge helping of heart and soul, and I’m up reading all night in romance heaven!

I authored my first fiction story when I was twelve. Since then, I’ve been hooked on writing. Initially, I focused my career on writing and editing nonfiction for newspapers and magazines before shifting to my first writing love—fiction. Then romance caught me and reeled me in. For me, connecting words to tell a story is like assembling a jigsaw puzzle, except I get to create the pieces as I go along.

While currently a Texas resident, I consider myself a Marylander since I grew up near Baltimore. I often draw on the historical flavor of Annapolis and Maryland’s Eastern Shore to inspire my story settings. My short stories have been published in five anthologies, and my short story, First Kiss, won a shortlist spot in a Reedsy’s short story contest.
