By Katherine Center.
When Emma Wheeler lands the opportunity to work on a romantic comedy with screenwriting legend Charlie Yates, she packs her bags and boards a plane to Los Angeles. This is her big break; her chance to move her writing career into the big leagues. And then she’s hit with not one, but two reality checks: Charlie’s rom-com is beyond terrible, and he DOES NOT want her help to fix it. Worse: he didn’t even know she was coming until she showed up on his doorstep.
Soon enough he concedes his screenplay needs work and welcomes Emma into his home as a ghostwriter. They agree to complete the script in six weeks. But sitting across the table from Charlie and writing romance every day brings its own set of challenges. Emma can handle the writing, no problem. Romance is in her blood, after all. But managing her growing feelings for her writing partner? Well, let’s just say problems are a given.
I loved everything about this book. Katherine Center never disappoints!!
